Lightning interrupts Mid West power
Release Date: 18 January 2012
At approximately 3pm lightning struck the main transmission line that delivers power to Geraldton. At the peak of the interruption, 25,000 customers were affected. Western Power has now restored electricity to all customers in Geraldton, however interruptions to power supply are continuing to affect customers in the vicinity of Eneabba, Moora and Three Springs.
